My Google reader is full of feeds for various topics, but I only skim most of them. Some sites, however, I spend a fair amount of time at. Here they are:
Top Ten Blogs/Sites I Read That AREN’T about Books
- The Daily Digi

Everything geeky under the sun, photos, art, movies, links etc… - Just something I made
Crafty site with plenty of ideas – and freebies. - Funky Junk Interiors

My go-to site for recipes, household tips, craft ideas, kids’ activities and what not.
What are your Top Ten blogs or sites you read that AREN’T about books?
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. You will find tons of more Top Ten Tuesday participants there.

I do follow some non-book blogs, but I haven’t heard of any of these. Will check some of them out. Thanks!
Better After is a fascinating site!
Melanie’s last post ..Walk Through My Reader: Part Two
Melanie, I couldn’t comment on your blog post because the form is closed. I didn’t know Gail Carriger had a fashion blog, it looks great. On the specific post you mentioned I loved the photo of the people lying on the ground, how stylish!
You sure like crafting, don’t you? I’m more the “let’s buy stuff on Etsy” type when it comes to that, though, some years back, I was big on making my own greeting cards, quite fancy ones too, but after a while I lost interest and sold most of my supplies.
Personally, I’m not really following all that many non-book sites, but two I check out on a daily basis are GoComics and TheBerry.
Birgit’s last post ..A Writer’s Life – Don’t I wish
Oh, Etsy, yes. I also love Etsy. I do like crafting, but unfortunately I often just plan to do things and then never get around to doing them.
This is great, Rikki! i had no idea you loved interior design and cooking that much! I must admit all my blogs are about books. I do read Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP though and I love it, especially the cooking and buying newsletters.
Elena’s last post ..Review: The Master Builder (Henrik Ibsen)
GOOP? Sounds interesting, I will have to check it out.
It is really interesting. Sometimes she offers things/ideas that unless you also have an Academy Award are not afforadble, but she has recipies and all kind of tips. Let me know if you like it
Elena’s last post ..Review: The Master Builder (Henrik Ibsen)
Most of my favorites are book-ish, so this was a hard list for me!
Here’s my
Top Ten List of Sites that Aren’t About Books. Please stop by!
I have been reading the Goop newsletter for a few years now and I love how they change topics with every one they send. Also, I read The Happiness Project
Ally’s last post ..23
The Happiness Project was on some people’s list. Will check it out.
Great list! Thanks for stopping by my Top Ten.
I like Der Spiegel, too! Of course, I have to read the English version. One of my German friends gave me a stack of Der Spiegel magazines to practice my German on, but they are still far beyond me.
To practice everyday German it would probably be better to read BILD, it would have shorter articles and easier language. But then, who would want to read that sort of “news coverage”,
.
First-time visitor….Great blog. Great posts.
